There were a number of medical staff in with Nikki today checking all kinds of things.  After looking at everything, they decided to keep her in the hospital at least one more day.  Probably bc of her positive personality!  The biggest concern right now is that the level of anti-rejection drugs in her bloodstream is not as high as they would like.  Despite this, Nikki is getting stronger each day and is continuing with her walking regimen.  She continues to eat normal food and is excited that she can take a shower at some point today - although she isn’t looking forward to the pain involved.  

Hopefully Nikki will come home tomorrow, as long as everything goes as expected.
